BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana baseball standouts Joe Kemp and Reggie Watson were selected to the Shenandoah Valley All-Star Game. The Hoosier teammates are members of the league's Harrisonburg Turks and played for the Southern All-Stars in the game.

All-Stars were picked by their own respective Valley League teams management and coaches, with each club sending three position players and three pitchers to comprise the 30-man roster.

Kemp, a recent selection of the Texas Rangers in the Major League Baseball Draft (42nd round), started at first base and went 1-for-2 with one run scored. Watson saw action in center field

The Hoosier duo has led Harrisonburg to first place in the Southern Division with a 20-12 first-half record. Kemp is second on the team with a .358 batting average in 23 games. The Bowie, Md., native has a pair of home runs with 20 RBIs.

Watson has appeared in 31 games with 27 starts and has posted a .296 average. The junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, leads the league with 17 stolen bases in 18 attempts.
