BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - First baseman Sam Travis has been tabbed to another Freshman All-America team, most recently selected to Perfect Game's First Team as the nation's top freshman first baseman. Click here for the complete Perfect Game Freshman All-America teams.

Travis, the Big Ten's Freshman of the Year, paced IU in hits (74), doubles (17), homeruns (9) and runs batted in (50). He was amongst the best bats in the entire Big Ten Conference, ranking in the top-10 for nearly every offensive statistic:

    • 50 RBI, 2nd (27/1st)
    • 17 doubles, 4th
