FRESHMAN YEAR (2004-05)
Played in two contests during the season saw the first action of his career playing the final minute against Furman (1/2/05) also played in first Big Ten game and grabbed first career rebound vs. Northwestern (3/5/05).

Walk-on guard is the son of former Indiana guard Steve Ahlfeld, who lettered for the Hoosiers from 1972-75 and has spent the last 20 years as IU's team orthopedic surgeon was the team co-captain as a senior at North Central, helping the team to a 21-4 record and its first sectional title since 1999 fellow IU guard A.J. Ratliff was a high school teammate, and Ratliff and Ahlfeld helped North Central to a No. 2 state ranking for much of the 2003-04 season earned all-league honors the son of Helen and Dr. Steve Ahlfeld was born Oct. 9, 1985 and majors in elementary education.
