    Jayd Grossman is in his seventh year as Assistant Athletic Director-Basketball Administration and assumed his current position in late April of 2008. He came to Indiana with more than 16 years of experience in intercollegiate athletics at Marquette, Cincinnati and Virginia. Grossman is responsible for the Hoosiers day-to-day administration of the program working closely with academic advising, business office, compliance, media relations, marketing, and facilities.

    Grossman came to Indiana after spending five seasons with the Marquette men's basketball program where he was Coordinator of Student-Athlete Performance. In that role, he supervised the sports medicine, strength and conditioning and academic services departments within the athletic department while providing several specific services for the men's basketball team.

    Grossman joined Marquette after serving as the men's basketball athletic trainer at the University of Cincinnati from 1993 to 2003.

    Grossman earned national recognition when he was selected to work at the USA Basketball National Team Trials in 2000, and then in again in 2001 when he was named as athletic trainer for the gold-medal winning USA 21-and-under World Championship team. Prior to his time at Cincinnati, he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Virginia from August 1992 to June 1993.

    A native of Evansville, Wis., Grossman earned a bachelor's of science degree in athletic training from Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1992 and a master's in education from Virginia in 1993.

    Jayd and his wife, Juli, have two daughters, Mardi (11) and Madeline (7).
