Indiana head coach Tom Crean
"We've practiced seven on five, we expected them to turn it up. But we've still got to be able to take care of the basketball. They have a lot of talent, they have a lot of depth and we don't have a lot of depth out there; they knew that and there's really no excuse for us not handling the ball better."
On Minnesota's development since last game at Indiana:
"They're pretty much the same, they're good. They're definitely good, they'll continue to get better. Paul Carter had one of his better games, I would imagine. They're verysolid to be able to go that deep. I'm sure Tubby has some extremely competitive practices when you've got that kind of talent on the floor. Devoe Joseph has gotten a lot better this year. Tubby has numerous guys that would be on the All-Freshman team I would think. Not to mention the steadiness of Al Nolen."
On coming close in games this season:
"I don't know, I guess I'm just tired of being close (to winning). Maybe it would be easier for me if we were getting blown out. I think we can win and I want the players to think they can win. We weren't nearly as physical as I wanted us to be. Keeping it in perspective, I'm having a hard time with that. I don't want to keep it in perspective. I expect more out of them and we just have to take care of the ball better, have to block out better, there's no question."
