Indiana vs. Penn State Postgame Notes
Indiana won the rebounding battle in the game (30-24), making it 23 out of 24 games where the Hoosiers have grabbed as many or more rebounds than their opponent.
IU made five 3-point field goals in the game, the 14th time this season they have made five or more in a game.
The Hoosiers had five players score eight-or-more points in the game.
Indiana shot 51.2 percent for the game (21-of-41), its eighth game this season shooting 50 percent or higher from the floor.
Sophomore Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 16 points and has now scored in double figures in 23-of-24 games this season. He also added six assists and five rebounds.
Senior Will Sheehey scored 12 points and now has 999 in his IU career. With one more point he will become the 47th Hoosier to reach 1,000 points.
Freshman Noah Vonleh scored eight points and pulled down 12 rebounds, his 13th double-digit rebounding game of the season and the sixth in his last seven games.
Vonleh has 231 rebounds for the season and is seven shy of Alan Henderson (1991-92) for second all-time among freshmen. Cody Zeller (2011-12) leads all freshmen with 290.
Freshman Stanford Robinson scored 11 points and dished out three assists. Robinson has five double-digit rebounding games this year.
Freshman Troy Williams scored eight points in 18 minutes.
