Postgame notes

• Indiana is 8-0 in exhibition games under head coach Tom Crean.

• The Hoosiers forced 18 Indiana Wesleyan turnovers and scored 23 points off of those miscues.

• Five Indiana players scored in double figures led by Maurice Creek's 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting in 15 minutes. It was Creek's first game action since Jan. 15, 2011, against Michigan.

• A trio of Hoosiers tallied 11 points, including Christian Watford, Will Sheehey and Cody Zeller.

• Watford also had six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in a team-high 23 minutes.

• Sheehey brought in five rebounds and logged 22 minutes.

• Zeller grabbed five rebounds with two steals, going a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor.

Victor Oladipo rounded out the IU double-digit scorers with 10 points and had a game-high seven boards and three steals.

• Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell had eight points on 4-of-6 shooting with four assists, four rebounds and a steal.

Remy Abell added seven points with three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 13 minutes.

Jeremy Hollowell scored five points, grabbed six rebounds, had six steals, two blocks and an assist in 13 minutes of action.

• The Hoosiers outrebounded the Wildcats, 44-28, including 17-10 on the offensive glass.

 

 

• Indiana outscored Indiana Wesleyan in points in the paint, 48-24, points off turnovers, 23-10, second-chance points, 19-6, fastbreak points, 16-4, and bench points, 46-13.

• IU shot 53.3 percent from the floor while holding the Wildcats to just 37.7 percent shooting, including 32.0 percent in the second half.
