The Hoosiers improve to 2-0 all-time against Bryant, also winning the previous matchup in 2009.
Tom Crean is 13-1 all-time in regular season-openers, including his 8-1 mark during his career at Marquette. On his way to victories in each of his four season-openers at Indiana, Crean's teams have outscored their opponents by an average score of 89.4 to 61.0. In his 14 season openers, Crean's teams have allowed 69 or more points just once.

The 54 points allowed in this evening's 97-54 win is the fewest amount allowed in a season-opener under Crean.
Tonight marks the second straight game with five or more players scoring in double figures (Watford, Zeller, Ferrell, Sheehey, Abell, Hollowell), as the Hoosiers also had five against Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament on March 23, 2012.
Watford (15) and Zeller's (10) double-digit rebounding performance marks the first time Indiana had two players with 10 or more rebounds in the same game since March 8, 2012, when IU defeated Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
