    Indiana vs. Boston University

    • Indiana head coach Tom Crean's career record now stands at 198-123, just two wins away from 200 in his 11th year as a head coach.

    • For the second game in a row, every player that saw the court for Indiana grabbed at least one rebound.

    • Freshman guard Maurice Creek scored 17 of the Hoosiers first 25 points in the game to stake Indiana to a 25-18 lead with just under seven minutes left in the first half.

    • Creek finished the first half shooting 6-for-10 from the field, including 4-of-6 from behind the three-point line. The four three-point field goals made is the most made in a game by an IU player this season.

    • Indiana went on a 13-3 run in the first half to turn a 14-15 deficeit into a 27-18 lead with 5:18 left in the half. During the run, BU went 0-for-6 from the field.

    • Sophomore forward Tom Pritchard had three blocked shots in the game to match his career high set Feb. 9, 2009, at Minnesota. He also had four points and three rebounds tonight against Boston.

    Verdell Jones III posted 14 points, five rebounds and six assists, the most assist by a Hoosier so far this season. In the two games in Puerto Rico, Jones III is shooting 52.0 percent (13-for-25).

    • Redshirt junior Jeremiah Rivers had his second straight game in double figures scoring with 13 points in addition to six rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots in 34 minutes of action. In the two game in Puerto Rico, Rivers is shooting a team-best 52.6 percent (among players with at least 10 field goal attempts).

    Christian Watford got off to a slow start but came back in the second half to go 3-for-4 from the field and finished with nine points to go along with his five rebounds and perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line. The Birmingham, Ala., native is now 13-for-17 (76.5 percent) at the line this year to lead the team.

    • Freshman Derek Elston was a perfect 3-for-3 off the bench for his six points. He also had a rebound and a steal in 14 minutes.

    • Senior guard Devan Dumes hit a deep, buzzer-beating three-point field goal before halftime on his way to four points, two assists and a steal in 13 minutes.

    • Freshman Jordan Hulls had an assist and a steal in 14 minutes while Bobby Capobianco and Tijan Jobe contributed on the rebound end in their time off the bench.

    • Indiana will now take on George Mason on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The game will be carried live on ESPNU. The Hoosiers and Patriots have met just once, on March 17, 1989, in Tuscon, Ariz. Indiana came out on top 99-85.
