    Indiana held Ball State to 0-for-8 in the final 6:50 of the first half, and was 2-for-14 from the floor in the final 12:24 of the first half.

    After starting the second half 3-for-3, Ball State went on a 0-for-7 stretch that lasted 5:43 until Chris Ames hit a lay-up at the 12:02 mark. The drought allowed Indiana to pull out to its largest lead of the game, 53-28, at the 12:23 mark.

    Indiana outscored Ball State's bench 21-1. One point is the lowest total that Indiana has held an opposing bench to this season. The Hoosiers have held their opponents bench to single digits on five occasions this season.

    Indiana tallied just eight turnovers in the game. It is the second straight contest and third time this season that Indiana has been in single digits in turnovers.

    For the fourth time this year, D.J. White led the team in scoring. He tallied 16 points on the night. In 12 games this season, six different players have led the team in scoring.

    Rod Wilmont led the Hoosiers in rebounds with seven, the fourth time this season he has led the squad. Six different players have led the team in rebounding in Indiana's 12 games.

    Ball State outrebounded Indiana 38-35. It is just the second time this season that Indiana has been outrebounded by an opponent.
