Sunday's Men's Basketball Game With Illinois A Sellout
Feb. 12, 2009
Bloomington, Indiana - Indiana University Vice President and Director of Athletics Fred Glass has announced that Sunday's men's basketball game with Illinois is sold out. The game, which will be shown on CBS, is scheduled to tipoff at 1 p.m.
"We are very grateful to the many fans in the Hoosier Nation who are coming out to support our program," said Glass. "This once again shows that Indiana basketball fans are among the best in the country."
Sunday's game will be the second sellout in three games, with the other coming two weekends ago against Ohio State.
"It never ceases to amaze me what kind of support we get at Indiana," said men's basketball coach Tom Crean. "This is something we will never take for granted. There can't be fan support that would be duplicated like this in a situation like ours. I can't imagine that anywhere in America."
