BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's basketball team (20-10) was awarded an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, the NCAA men's basketball selection committee announced today. IU was awarded the No. 7 seed in the West Region, where it will face 10th seed Gonzaga (23-10) out of the West Coast Conference in Sacramento, Calif. The game will take place on Thursday, March 15 with an approximate 10 p.m. ET tip time. Should the Hoosiers advance, they would face the winner of the UCLA/Weber State game in the second round on Saturday, March 17.

The Hoosiers are 1-1 all time against the Zags, while Indiana is 59-28 in the NCAA Tournament in its history. This will be Indiana's 34th trip to the Big Dance.
