James Blackmon Jr. Scores 13 Points In McDonald's All-American Game

CHICAGO - Indiana signee James Blackmon Jr. (Marion, Ind./Marion) scored 13 points for the East team in a 105-102 loss to the West team at the 37th McDonald's All-American Game, which was played at the United Center. He added two rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes of action for the East team.
Blackmon Jr. connected on his only 3-pointer of the game in the first half and then tallied 10 points in the second half on a couple putback layups and a midrange jumper. He had a shot to tie the game with 2.9 seconds left in regulation but it just missed to the right.
This was the first of three postseason events that Blackmon will be taking part in this Spring. Next up is the Nike Hoop Summitt in Portland, Ore., on April 12 before closing things out at the Jordan Brand Classic on April 18, which is played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
