    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The final USA Today Coaches Poll was released on Monday (April 8) following the national championship game and Indiana checked in at No. 9. It is the highest finish in the final coaches poll released following the tournament since coming in at No. 3 in 2002 after finishing as National Runner-Up.

    Last year, Indiana was ranked No. 13 in the Coaches Poll released following the NCAA Tournament.

    The Hoosiers began the 2012-13 season as the No. 1 team in both the Associated Press and USA Today Preseason Polls and continued to be ranked in both polls each week during the season. Dating back to the 2011-12 season, the Hoosiers have been ranked in 33 consecutive polls, which is the longest since appearing in 71 straight polls from 1989-94.
