Indiana Men's Basketball Finishes Ninth In The Nation In Attendance

Bloomington, Indiana - The Indiana men's basketball program ranked ninth in the nation in attendance with an average of 16,876 fans per night attending the 19 home games played this past year in Assembly Hall.
That total also was the sixth highest average in school history and IU now has finished among the top 11 programs in the nation in 36 of the last 37 seasons.
The Big Ten also finished as the national leader in attendance for the 32nd straight season. The Big Ten ranked first among all conferences with an average of 12,978 fans per game/session, which is 838 more than the national runner-up (SEC - 12,140). The NCAA's final attendance numbers and rankings include both regular-season and conference tournament attendance.
The Big Ten also broke the two-million mark in total attendance for the 16th consecutive season as the conference welcomed 2,517,685 fans through the turnstiles in 194 games for an average of 12,978 patrons per contest.
