    Indiana Will Face Ole Miss In First Round of O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off

    The Indiana University men's basketball team will face Ole Miss in the first round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off, November 19 in San Juan. The game will begin at 5 p.m. (Eastern) and will air on ESPN2. This will be the first meeting between the two teams. The Hoosiers hold a 52-34 edge over Southeastern Conference opponents and Ole Miss is the only SEC team the Hoosiers have not played.

    "I know our players, coaches and fans look forward to competing on a national stage and are excited to get the opportunity to appear on national television," said IU Coach Tom Crean. "This is an outstanding field to compete against and should present a tremendous challenge."

    On November 20, Indiana will battle Kansas State or Boston University in the tournament semifinal or consolation round depending on the outcome of its first round game against the Rebels. The teams will have a day off on Saturday and then the championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

    Nine of the 12 games in the event will appear on either ESPNU or ESPN2.

    Dayton and Georgia Tech will open tournament play at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Villanova and George Mason will compete in the other tournament quarterfinal at 2 p.m. Kansas State and Boston University will play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
