IU Coach Kelvin Sampson To Play in the Magnolia Health Systems Wolf Challenge

Sellersburg, Ind. - Indiana University men's basketball coach Kelvin Sampson will be making his first appearance at "The Magnolia Health Systems Wolf Challenge" to be held August 12th and 13th at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg. He will join a fivesome that includes tournament host Fuzzy Zoeller, legend Lee Trevino, long-hitting John Daly and rock and roll icon Alice Cooper. The group will be raising money for various children's charities.
"After a month on the road recruiting, this is a nice event to be a part of," said Sampson.
All five players will be wearing microphones while competing. The competition will be an eighteen-hole match utilizing the "wolf" format. Sampson will be able to use his USGA handicap.
Tickets are now on sale now by calling (812) 246-8200, or by going to www.FuzWolf.com. One day general admission tickets are $25 while a two day general admission ticket is $40. Children 13 and under are granted free admittance when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are only available in advance. There are a limited number of corporate badges remaining, as well as teams for "The Saturday Shamble" to be held Saturday, August 11th at Fuzzy's new golf course, Champions Pointe Golf Club.
To date, "The Magnolia Health Systems Wolf Challenge" has raised over $1.5 million, and has been affectionately embraced by the Kentuckiana Region as "The Last Bash of the Summer at Fuzzy's Place!"
