    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University Basketball fans across the state will have the opportunity to meet Hoosier head coach Kelvin Sampson and Director of Athletics Rick Greenspan. Sampson and Greenspan will preview the 2006-07 season in Merrillville on Tuesday, Sept. 26, Ft. Wayne on Wednesday, Sept. 27 and Evansville on Monday, Oct. 2.

    Sampson has already made numerous appearances throughout the state and eagerly anticipates this three-city tour.

    "The thing that I respect most about Indiana fans is the passion that they have for their university and their basketball program," Sampson said. "As a staff, we share that passion. I have enjoyed traveling throughout the state - Marion, Elkhart, Ft. Wayne, New Albany, Bloomington, Indianapolis, Batesville. Everywhere I go, the reception has been both humbling and motivating."

    The Merrillville event on Sept. 26 is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (CT) at the Radisson Hotel. Adult tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. Please RSVP by Sept. 22 to Phyllis Booher at pbooher@indiana.edu or by phone at (800) 824-3044.

    The meet and greet in Ft. Wayne on Sept. 27 will be held at Memorial Coliseum from 6-8 p.m. (ET). Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or via the phone at (260) 424-1811.

    The Evansville event on Oct. 2 will be held at The Milestones Crescent Room and is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (ET). Tickets for adults are $20 per seat.     The events are sponsored by the IU Varsity Club, the IU Alumni Association, the Northwest Indiana Alumni Chapter and the Greater Evansville Chapter of the IUAA.

    No student in grades 9-12 may attend, per NCAA regulations.
