BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Basketball fans have the opportunity to join Coach Kelvin Sampson, his staff and current and former Hoosier players at the Indiana Basketball Tip-Off Event on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at Assembly Hall. Although dinner reservations are sold out, fans may still purchase $10 individual tickets that will enable them to enter the South Lobby at 7 p.m. and sit in the West Main Level Stands to hear remarks by Sampson, Director of Athletics Rick Greenspan and current and former players. All West Main Level Stands seating is general admission, and all Indiana University students are admitted free with their IU ID. Doors for the West Main Level Stands will open at 7 p.m., and fans may enter from the South Lobby only.

The Tip-Off Event is just one component of the broad-based program that Sampson will have at Indiana.

"Indiana Basketball is not just about what takes place on the court. We're trying to touch every base of the community," Sampson said. "Hoosier fans have a passion for Indiana University and its athletics program, so it is important that we open our program to them."

For ticket information, please contact the IU Athletics Ticket Office at 866-IU-SPORTS.

In addition to the Tip-Off Event, Indiana Basketball fans have several opportunities to purchase men's and women's tickets this season:
