Maurice, how have you adjusted to IU after your first month.

A: Everything is going very good. All of us are working hard and we are working toward the goal of making this year the best possible year we can.

What impressed you the most about the guys you are playing with?

A: Everybody knows how to play the game. Some teams have people that know how to play the game and some teams don't know how to play the game. But everybody here knows how to play the game. We do as we are told. You know we work hard every day and everyone is pushing each other. So in the end, hard work will make us a better team.

How much of an adjustment has it been going from high school to college.

A: It's been a major adjustment, cause you know what to expect when you're in high school. The collegiate level is harder and tougher. We work hard and everything is done at a high level.

What part of your game are you happiest with and what do you think you can bring to the team this year?

A: Leadership. I want to be a vocal leader. I want to pump everyone up even though I am just a freshman. This team is great. We have had great effort and pride in what we do.

    Who are you rooming with?

    A: Jordan Hulls

What been your favorite thing to do away from basketball? And are you guys kind of bonding, especially the freshman?

A: Oh yea, we bond everyday. When someone goes home, everyone goes home and meets their family. We find each other because coming in with six freshman, we have a common bond. We talk everyday, we have morning class together Tuesdays and Thursdays so we find each other everyday just because were newcomers.
