    Several Hoosier Legends Returning For Hoosier Hysteria

    Bloomington, Indiana - Several former Hoosier legends will return to Assembly Hall on Friday night to participate in Hoosier Hysteria. The event will feature the IU men's and women's basketball teams and the IU volleyball program. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the volleyball team facing Ohio State at 7 p.m. The men's and women's teams and many of the Hoosier legends will sign autographs from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the first official workouts for the women's and men's basketball teams will begin shortly after the volleyball match concludes.

    Among the former players who will be attending the event include Adam and Steve Ahlfeld, Lee Aldridge, James Barley, Jack Brown, Archie Dees, Scott Eells, Steve Green, Kyle Hornsby, Ted Kitchel, Mike LaFave, John Laskowski, Todd Leary, Gary Long, Jerry Memering, Mike Noland, Wayne Radford, Steve Risley, Errek Suhr, John Wallace and Frank Wilson.

    Cost of admission is three canned goods or a cash donation to benefit the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. Fans will be provided with one item for the autograph line as the players are not permitted to sign any other items.

    Coach Felisha Legette-Jack will address the crowd and then the players will open up with their pre-game stretch and drills. The night will feature a 3-point shootout between the Hoosiers and the B97 morning crew from Alex's Playhouse - Alex and Josh. Following the 3-point contest, the Hoosiers will take the floor to give fans a preview of the team with a scrimmage.

    The men will follow and introduce the legends and this year's squad. Coach Tom Crean will show a video and address the crowd. The team will then participate in drills, a shooting competition, a hula hoop contest with the women's team and fans and will be presented with a gift from EA Sports for their participation in this year's Maui Invitational. A scrimmage will conclude the evening.

     

     

    Portions of the event will be shown on the Big Ten Network and ESPNU.
