    Bloomington, Indiana - The IU Men's Basketball program will "tip off" its season with a banquet on Tuesday, October 28 on the floor of Assembly Hall. Hosted by the Indiana University Varsity Club, the annual Men's Basketball Tip-Off Banquet will include a dinner and reception featuring remarks from former players, current players and Coach Tom Crean.

    "As I have said many times, I think the tradition of Indiana basketball is as strong as any in the country," said Crean. "We are excited about the event and look forward to interacting with the many fans and friends who are attending."

    Table Sponsorships are still available for $750. Each sponsored table includes six tickets with the opportunity to be seated with a VIP (current player, former player, or IU administrator) and their guest. Table sponsors can forgo the opportunity to be seated with a VIP and choose to receive all 8 tickets for the same price ($750). Each table sponsor will also receive an autographed basketball from Coach Crean. Individual tickets are also available and can be purchased for $75 per ticket.

    Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the program scheduled to occur from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sportscaster Don Fischer, the "voice" of IU Basketball, will emcee the program. The program will also feature a virtual tour of the new Basketball Development Center and a highlight video of the Hoosiers' practice sessions.
