Bloomington, Indiana -
On getting used to wearing the mask after suffering a broken nose in practice:
"I've been wearing it the past couple days in practice and have been getting used to it. It still a little uncomfortable but I'm going to have to learn to play with it and I have."
On how his game has changed since last year:
"I worked all summer on getting more shots up as well as a couple moves off the dribble. I feel a lot more comfortable putting the ball on the floor after a shot fake or if the defender goes flying past me I can take a one-dribble pull-up or hit the open man in the post."
On finally being able to play against someone else instead of each other:
"This is what we worked all summer for and all off season. We are really excited and ready to get thing started tomorrow night."
On what they are expecting from Grace College:
"We know they are a pretty good team. They won 20-plus games last year, which is a big accomplishment. We know they are very good and disciplined team and we are going to have to come out and play physical and aggressive ourselves."
On what exhibition games do for the team:
"They just prepare you for the season. It will be fun to take the floor for the first time. We have had a couple great scrimmages and we are ready to play someone that is not wearing "Indiana" across their chest.
"We are hoping to get a feel for how things are going to go. We have a lot of new guys and this is going to be their first game. I think they are ready to have that first experience and put it under their belt and move on."
