BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana University men's basketball coach Tom Crean has announced that five student-athletes have signed a national letter of intent to play basketball and attend Indiana University beginning in the fall of 2012.
Joining the Hoosier program will be guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell, (Park Tudor) forward Jeremy Hollowell (Lawrence Central) and guard Ron Patterson (Broad Ripple) of Indianapolis along with forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea (La Lumiere School/La Porte), a native of Columbia, and center Peter Jurkin (United Faith Christian Academy/Charlotte, N.C.) from the Sudan.
This group is rated as the No. 2 recruiting class in the country according to Rivals.com and Scout.com.

"Peter can be a game-changer with his length defensively and he has great timing which is essential for someone who blocks shots. His offense is continuing to evolve and he can play with his back to the basket and is getting more and more comfortable stepping out on the floor to shoot the ball. His progress has been somewhat stalled due to injury, but the potential is there for him to take a big jump this year."
