Hoosiers Take on Chattanooga Sunday

Including exhibition games, this will be the third game in 26 days during the month of November to start the season. The Hoosiers will visit Evansville on Wednesday, Nov. 16, before returning home to take on Savannah State and Gardner Webb. The Hoosiers return 93.3 percent of their scoring with 2,078 of 2,226 points returning.
John Shulman is entering his eighth season as the head coach at Chattanooga and has an overall record of 121-106 with the Mocs.
Tom Crean is 4-0 in season-openers at Indiana.
Freshman forward Cody Zeller posted a double-double in his Hoosier debut. Zeller shared game-high honors with 16 points, collected a game-high 10 rebounds and recorded three steals, two blocks and two assists in 27 minutes. He hit 5-of-6 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the foul line. Zeller is the third true freshmen in the last four years to record a double-double in his debut. Tom Pritchard (Northwestern State - Nov. 15, 2008) and Christian Watford (Howard - Nov. 13, 2009) accomplished the feat.
Sophomore Victor Oladipo matched a career-high with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting. The sophomore guard played 24 minutes and added six rebounds and two steals. Oladipo has reached double figures 11 times in his career. His defense was also credited with holding the Seawolves to a 5-of-20 effort from beyond the arc.
Sophomore forward Will Sheehey led the Hoosiers with 13 points off the bench on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line. Sheehey also pulled down five boards and added one steal and one assist in just 10 minutes. The Stuart, Fla., native has four double-figure scoring games in his career.
Junior forward Derek Elston gave Indiana four scorers in double figures with 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting. The junior forward had two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 14 minutes. Elston has reached double figures 12 times in his career.
Indiana shot 65.4 percent (34-of-52) in the game, the second-best percentage in the Tom Crean Era. The Hoosiers shot 67.4 percent (29-of-43) against Michigan on Jan. 15, 2011. The Michigan game was also the last time IU shot over 60 percent.
