San Juan, Puerto Rico -
Junior guard Jeremiah Rivers talked to the media on Saturday about last night's game against Boston University and tomorrow's contest with George Mason.
On this morning's practice
The coaching staff is real positive during practice and working out. We had a positive tempo last night and controlled the game for 35 or 36 minutes, we just have to finish strong. We went hard today with an emphasis on finishing strong.
What have the last 24 hours been like?
We were very disappointed and were real upset. We battled, but so did Boston University. They were well coached and focused and played harder longer than we did. We were very down coming back to the hotel, but our fans have helped pick us up and they have our back. It goes a long way.
What about George Mason?
I am very familiar with them having played against a lot of their guys in the summer when I was at Georgetown. They may not get the recognition they deserve, but they have great players who are tough and they are well coached. They have a lot of talent.
