    Springfield, Mass-Indiana (2-0) knocked off fourth-ranked Temple 67-59 in the Tip-Off Classic at the Springfield Civic Center in Springfield, Mass.

    Senior A.J. Guyton posted his 27th career 20-point plus game with a team-high 22 while sophomore Kirk Haston added 20 points and nine rebounds. Seniors Luke Jimenez and Michael Lewis orchestrated the offense. Jimenez scored eight points and dished out six assists, as he got a starting nod. Lewis added six points, six rebounds and four assists. He is now 141 assists short of the school's all-time mark.

    Dan Fife added five points in a starting role and Kyle Hornsby, Jarrad Odle and Lynn Wahsington all scored a bucket a piece as Indiana shot 44.6 percent from the floor. The Hoosiers held Temple to 35.6 percent from the floor.

    The Hoosiers connected on all eight free-throws it attempted in the second half and Haston led the way with a 4-4 performance on the night.

    Indiana held a 33-32 lead at the half. Temple took a 40-38 advantage with 14:34 remaining on two free throws by Lynn Greer. But consecutive layups by Washington and Guyton allowed the Hoosiers to regain the lead for good.
