    Week Six Rankings

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's basketball team enters this week's Associated Press poll ranked at No. 18 and the USA Today/Coaches poll ranked at No. 20. IU earned 462 votes in the AP poll and 171 points in the USA Today/Coaches poll.

"These players have certainly earned it," said IU Coach Tom Crean. "We have to continue to stay locked in to our own goals and understand we still have an opportunity to get better. We have to continue to prepare with the same mindset and focus that we have shown thus far this season."

The Hoosiers are 9-0 after beating then-No. 1 Kentucky, 73-72, on a Christian Watford 3-pointer at the buzzer on Saturday, Dec. 10 in Assembly Hall. This week marks the first time IU has entered the top-25 in either poll since March 2008 (AP 22/Coaches 20).

Indiana returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 17, when it takes on Notre Dame in the Close The Gap Crossroads Classic at 4:30 p.m. ET in Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Saturday's game will be aired live on ESPN2 and the IU Radio Network.
