Legendary Coach John Pont Passes Away
7/1/2008 - Former Indiana head football coach John Pont passed away Tuesday morning in Oxford, Ohio, at the age of 80. Pont coached the Hoosiers from 1965-72 and led the Hoosiers to their only Rose Bowl appearance. Read Full Release

Football Opener to be Televised on Big Ten Network

Middleton Makes Way onto Fourth Watch List
Indiana defensive end Greg Middleton has been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List, the Maxwell Football Club announced on Monday afternoon. The award is given to the best defensive player in college football and is the fourth preseason watch list Middleton has found himself on.
