    Shane Wynn took the opening kickoff 99 yards untouched for the fourth-longest return in school history.

    Richardson started 27 times and appeared in 45 games during his career. He made 129 tackles, 68 solo, with 11 sacks (74 yards), 22 tackles for loss (99 yards), three blocked kicks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, six pass breakups and two quarterback hurries. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in African American and African diaspora studies in May 2015.

    2014 Honors: Elected team captain along with Tevin Coleman, Collin Rahrig and Shane Wynn ... honorable mention All-Big Ten (coaches and media) ... received Indiana's Chris Dal Sasso Award (Outstanding Lineman).

    2014 (Senior): Played in all 12 games and started 11 times ... led all IU defensive linemen with 35 tackles, 24 solo, 5.5 sacks (39 yards) and 9.5 tackles for loss (48 yards) ... blocked two kicks and added one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry ... posted a career-high three sacks, tied for the most in the Big Ten in 2014, with three stops in the Indiana State win ... the three sacks are tied for the fifth-most in a single game in IU history ... collected one sack with two TFLs, three tackles and one blocked field goal against Penn State ... recorded one sack and three stops at Iowa ... netted a season-high six tackles with one for loss and one PBU at No. 7 Ohio State ... closed out his career with four stops and one tackle for loss in the Purdue win ... blocked an extra point at Bowling Green ... two-time IU defensive player of the week (Indiana State and Ohio State) ... IU special teams player of the week (Penn State) ... eight-time game captain.

    2013 (Junior): Started the final 10 games at defensive tackle and appeared in all 12 ... led all Indiana defensive linemen with 39 tackles, 20 solo ... added 3.5 tackles for loss (nine yards) and three pass breakups ... recorded three games with five-or-more stops ... matched a career-high with eight tackles against Navy ... collected six stops, four solo, 1.5 TFLs and one PBU in the Bowling Green win ... netted five tackles, four solo, against Missouri ... also had four stops vs. Minnesota and at No. 4 Ohio State ... blocked an extra point in the Purdue victory ... three-time game captain (Penn State, Michigan and Minnesota).

    2012 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games at defensive end ... delivered 28 tackles, 2.5 sacks (14 yards), five tackles for loss (21 yards) and one forced fumble ... made five stops with one sack in the Iowa win ... added four tackles with a half-TFL in the Massachusetts victory ... posted three stops with a half-sack and 1.5 tackles for loss against No. 8 Ohio State ... carded three tackles and one sack in the Illinois win and three stops with one TFL and one forced fumble at Navy.

    2011 (Freshman): Worked his way from defensive tackle on the scout team at the start of the season to starter at defensive end ... made six starts, all in Big Ten play, and appeared in nine games ... collected 27 tackles with three sacks (21 yards), four tackles for loss (21 yards), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery ... finished second on the team with his three sacks ... made a career-high eight stops with a half-TFL in first start against Penn State ... added four tackles in addition to two sacks and first career forced fumble at Ohio State ... tallied four stops, a 14-yard sack and first career fumble recovery against Illinois ... closed out the year with seven tackles, a half-tackle for loss, one quarterback hurry and one PBU against Purdue ... scout team player of the week (Ball State).

    Prep/Personal: Defensive lineman for head coach Robert Weiner at Plant High School ... posted 76 tackles, 36 solo, with 36 tackles for loss, four sacks and two fumble recoveries en route to second team all-conference honors in 2010 ... team advanced to the state finals and finished the season with a 12-3 record ... transferred to Plant prior to his senior season and became a starter ... father is Bobby Richardson, Jr. ...
