• Grey Frey is in his second season as Indiana's run game coordinator and third as offensive line coach.

• Coached 12 all-conference honorees in his career. Left tackle Jason Spriggs, center Will Matte and right guard Dan Feeney collected 2012 honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition.

• Spriggs and Feeney earned freshman All-America honors after starting all 12 games, an IU true freshman record for an offensive lineman.

• Offensive line led the Big Ten, allowing just one sack every 31.8 pass attempts.

• The Hoosiers finished atop the Big Ten in passing offense (311.2), which ranked 17th nationally, and set program records for passing yardage (3,734) and total offense (5,304). They also finished second in the league in total offense (442.0) and fourth in scoring offense (30.8).

• Mentored five 2012 All-Big Ten honorees, including Spriggs, Matte, Feeney and Michigan's Patrick Omameh and Taylor Lewan, who was named the Big Ten's Offensive Lineman of the Year.

• Despite using seven different starting lineups across the line in 2011, IU rushed for 1,374 yards in Big Ten play, the program's highest total since 2001.

• True freshman guard Bernard Taylor earned a spot on the Yahoo Sports, BTN.com and ESPN.com Big Ten All-Freshman teams. Tackle Andrew McDonald signed a free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins to become Frey's sixth offensive lineman to move on to the NFL.

• From 2008-10, Frey coached the offensive line at the University of Michigan. The Wolverines racked up a school-record and Big Ten-leading 6,353 offensive yards (488.7 per game) in 2010.

• David Molk, a seventh round 2012 NFL draft pick by San Diego, garnered 2010 first team All-Big Ten accolades and was also a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, presented to the nation's most outstanding center.

• Michigan had one of the nation's most balanced offenses in 2010, finishing second in the league with 250.2 passing yards per game and third with 238.5 rushing yards per game. The Wolverines ranked eighth nationally in total offense and 13th in rushing offense.

• Arrived in Ann Arbor after spending 2007 mentoring the offensive line at West Virginia University. Left tackle Ryan Stanchek, who is an IU offensive graduate assistant, was a first team Football Writers Association of America and second team Walter Camp Football Foundation All-American.

• Stanchek is one of five former Frey players currently working with FBS programs.

• First team guard Greg Isdaner became Frey's fifth All-BIG EAST player and center Mike Dent earned second team All-BIG EAST recognition.

• West Virginia ranked third in the country averaging 297.2 rushing yards per game. The Mountaineers were also fifth in sacks allowed per game (1.0), ninth in scoring offense (39.6) and 15th in total yards per game (456.2).

• The 2007 BIG EAST co-champions earned a 48-28 victory over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl and finished the year ranked No. 6 in both national polls.

• A member of the University of South Florida's inaugural staff, Frey coached the defensive line in 1999 and then moved to the offensive line, where he worked for seven seasons (2000-06).

• Tutored offensive tackle Kenyatta Jones, who became USF's first professional draft pick when New England selected him in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. In addition to Jones, Levi Newton and Frank Davis both signed free agent contracts with Indianapolis and Detroit, respectively.

• Offensive line paved the way for Andre Hall's BIG EAST-leading 1,374 rushing yards in 2005 en route to South Florida's first bowl appearance in the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Frey was also a part of USF's first bowl victory, a 24-7 win vs. East Carolina in the 2006 Papajohns.com Bowl.

• Three-year letterman on Florida State University's offensive line was a member of Bobby Bowden's national championship team in 1993, defeating Nebraska in the 1994 Orange Bowl. He gained bowl victories in the 1992 Cotton Bowl, the 1995 Sugar Bowl and three Orange Bowls (1993, 1994 and 1996).

• Frey, a 1996 FSU graduate, was a part of four straight Atlantic Coast Conference championship teams (1992-95) and the team compiled a 31-1 league mark during his playing career. FSU posted a four-year record of 43-5-1 with four consecutive top four finishes in the national polls.

• A Clearwater High School graduate, Super Prep rated Frey the top offensive lineman in the country. He also went on to earn Parade All-America status.

• Greg and his wife, Andrea, reside in Bloomington with her children Alex (16), Cameron (13) and Drew (12).
