2010 (Junior): Started all 11 games in which he appeared ... led the team with 4.5 sacks (19 yards), was third on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss (22 yards) and fifth with 65 tackles, 32 solo ... added three quarterback hurries, two pass breakups and forced one fumble ... finished tied for sixth in the Big Ten in sacks and ranked 26th with 5.9 tackles per game ... led all Big Ten defensive linemen in tackles ... reached five tackles nine times, including each of the final six games ... posted a career-high 11 stops, six solo, with one sack and two TFLs against Northwestern ... made nine stops with a half-tackle for loss vs. Penn State and eight tackles with 1.5 sacks and one quarterback hurry at No. 6 Wisconsin ... had six stops apiece against No. 19 Michigan and at Illinois (forced fumble) ... collected five tackles vs. both No. 15 Iowa (one sack, 1.5 TFLs) and at Purdue (half-TFL) ... earned the Hoosier Big Play Maker Award on defense ... voted Northwestern game captain.
2009 (Sophomore): Moved from linebacker to defensive end during spring practice ... played in the first three games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury ... made eight tackles, seven solo, with one sack and one pass breakup ... posted three stops and a sack in the season-opening triumph vs. Eastern Kentucky ... named IU special teams player of the week following the Akron game.
2008 (Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games at linebacker and on special teams ... finished the year with 13 tackles, seven solo ... forced the first fumble of his career against Wisconsin ... two-time IU special teams player of the week.
2007: Redshirted the 2007 season ... three-time scout team player of the week (Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue).
Prep/Personal: Linebacker and running back for head coach Cedric Dortch at Highland Park ... a first team all-state, all-metro and all-conference selection as a junior and senior ... recorded 53 tackles and one interception to go along with 1,583 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior ... collected 93 stops and one INT with 2,143 rushing yards and 30 TDs during junior campaign ... named all-conference with 80 tackles, 2,239 rushing yards and 21 scores as a sophomore ... three-year letterwinner and two-time captain ... mother is Eula Evans ...
