Safety Eric McClurg saw action in every game for Indiana in 2005. He posted five tackles (four solo) at Michigan State.

McClurg played in all 11 games in 2004. He had the best game of the season at home against Michigan, registering five solo tackles, and played a season-high 44 snaps against the Wolverines. McClurg posted a pair of tackles at Northwestern and had one solo tackle for loss versus Central Michigan. He closed the year with 11 tackles (nine solo and two assists) in 233 game snaps.

McClurg sat out the 2003 season after transferring from Ball State.

Originally from Center Grove High School, he was tabbed as an Associated Press All-State honoree and participated in the 2002 IFCA All-Star Game. McClurg intercepted 30 passes during his career and helped the Trojans to the 2002 state championship game.
