2011 (Freshman): Finished second on the Hoosiers with 76 tackles, led the way with 44 solo stops and added one tackle for loss, a 31-yard interception touchdown return and four pass breakups ... started three times at weak-side linebacker, six times at safety and appeared in all 12 games ... opened the season at safety, moved to linebacker in week three and returned to safety in week seven ... recorded the most tackles for an IU true freshman since 2003 (Will Meyers - 83) and led all Big Ten true freshmen ... in Big Ten play, paced the team by 13 tackles with 62 stops, including a team-best 35 solos ... 7.8 tackles per game tied for 12th in conference play only and led all freshmen ... collected double-digit tackles three times and at least eight stops five times ... netted a career-high 13 tackles with one pass breakup against Purdue ... added 11 stops, seven solo, against Northwestern and 10 tackles with eight solos, one PBU and one QBH in his first career start at safety at No. 4 Wisconsin ... made eight stops apiece against Illinois and at Ohio State ... tallied seven tackles with one TFL in his first career start against South Carolina State ... picked off a pass and returned it 31 yards for a TD at North Texas ...
