2014 Honors: Earned the team’s Harold Mauro “Loyalty to IU Football” Award.
2014 (Junior): Played in nine games ... started eight times at right tackle and once at left tackle ... the team set a program single-season record with 3,163 rushing yards ... Indiana averaged 263.6 rushing yards per game (ninth nationally, third in the Big Ten) and 405.0 total yards (fifth in the Big Ten) ... the Hoosiers gained 200 yards 10 times (tied for ninth nationally, third in the Big Ten), averaged 5.9 yards per carry (eighth nationally, second in the Big Ten) and scored 29 times on the ground (tied for 33rd nationally, sixth in the Big Ten) ... Tevin Coleman became the 18th player in FBS history to rush for 2,000 yards (2,036), which set a school record, is 15th on the FBS all-time list and sixth in Big Ten history ... Coleman was Indiana’s third unanimous and consensus All-American and finished seventh in Heisman Trophy voting ... two-time IU offensive player of the week (Missouri and Penn State).
2013 Honors: Received the team’s Ted Verlihay “Mental Attitude” Award.
2013 (Sophomore): Started all 12 games at right tackle ... Indiana set single-season records with 6,102 total yards, 508.5 total yards per game, 461 points, 38.4 points per game, 36 passing touchdowns, 62 total TDs and 300 first downs ... team averaged over 300 passing yards and 200 rushing yards in the same season for the first time in school history ... offensive line did not allow a sack in six games and surrendered just one sack every 26.1 pass attempts, which ranked third in the Big Ten ... the Hoosiers were one of six teams in the nation to rank in the top 30 in total, passing, scoring and rushing offense ... IU’s offensive player of the week (Purdue).
2012 (Freshman): Made his collegiate debut and lone appearance in the win at Massachusetts.
2011: Suffered a knee injury in the offseason and redshirted the 2011 season ... enrolled in spring classes and participated in practice.
Prep/Personal: Offensive guard and defensive end for head coach Rob Patchett at Arlington High School ... Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50, first team Indianapolis Star Super Team and Indianapolis Star All-City in 2010 ... a three-time all-conference and two-time all-city selection during his career ... Arlington won two conference championships in his four years ... started at guard and graded out at 90 percent with an average of five pancakes per game as a senior ... made 62 tackles and 14 tackles for loss, with five sacks, a 65-yard interception touchdown, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on the defensive line ... rated the No. 9 prospect in Indiana and the No. 33 offensive guard nationally by Rivals.com ... rated the No. 12 prospect in Indiana by Scout.com ... three-year starter named the team’s defensive player of the year and the most valuable player on the offensive line ... four-year football and three-year basketball and baseball letterwinner ... mother is Patricia Pack ... aunt and uncle are Earl and Angie Pack ... born on Aug. 31, 1992, Ralston Dwayne Evans is a recreational sport management major.
