Chris Shula is in his third season as a defensive graduate assistant for the Indiana football program.
Spent the 2010 season as a graduate assistant at Ball State University.
A three-year letterwinner at linebacker at Miami (Ohio) University from 2004-08. He totaled 144 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss in his career.
After graduating from Miami in December 2008 with a degree in sports studies, Shula spent the 2009-10 academic year as a graduate assistant in athletic administration at the University of Oklahoma.
The son of Dave and Leslie Shula, his father was the head coach of the National Football League's Cincinnati Bengals from 1992-96.
Grandfather, Don Shula, was the head coach of the NFL's Miami Dolphins from 1970-95 and is in the league's Hall of Fame.
