2009 (Senior): Started nine times and played in all 12 games ... caught six balls for 76 yards with one TD ... collected first touchdown of career and finished with two catches for 37 yards in win over Illinois ... hauled in two receptions for 23 yards the following weekend at Northwestern ... grabbed one ball for 13 yards vs. No. 24 Wisconsin ... earned the Hoosier Big Play Maker Award on offense along with Demetrius McCray ... named IU special teams player of the week following the Virginia game.
2008 (Junior): Made five starts and saw action in 11 of the team's 12 games at tight end ... solid blocker helped the Hoosiers break the 2,000-yard rushing mark (2,003) for the second straight year, the first time since 2000 and 2001 an IU team produced back-to-back 2,000-yard rushing seasons ... Indiana averaged 4.5 yards per carry and carded 19 rushing scores, its best numbers since 2001 (5.5, 33) ... the team rushed for over 250 yards four times with a season-best 297 yards in the season-opening win over Western Kentucky.
2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in nine games and hauled in two passes for five yards ... received the first start of his career against Penn State and earned his first collegiate playing time in the season opener vs. Indiana State ... made his first career reception for seven yards at Iowa ... added his second catch against Minnesota.
2006 (Freshman): Did not see any game action in 2006.
2005: Redshirted the 2005 season.
Prep/Personal: A 2004 first team all-conference and all-state tight end at O'Fallon Township High School for head coach Todd Moeller ... caught 23 passes for 420 yards and one touchdown to help his team to an 11-1 record and a spot in the Illinois 7A Quarterfinals ... parents are Mark and Judy Wagner ... born on Feb. 25, 1987, Troy Michael Reno Wagner is a general studies major.
