    Indiana Head Coach Kevin Wilson

On how the Indiana offense performed overall:
"We still need to finish some blocks on the perimeter, we can always be cleaner in the pass game and we struggled when the ball was wet in the third quarter. We had a few three-and-outs and need to manage first and second downs better to avoid third and long situations. I don't know if we are great, but we have enough good players that when they all come together, the offensive line plays well and the quarterback manages the game, we have enough receivers, tight ends and running backs to cause problems for the defense."

On the Indiana defense holding UMass to six points in the game:
"The reason we scored so many points was the defense, because they kept getting the offense the ball. The defense is playing better. We are faster and we are a little bit better with conditioning and recruiting, but we are a lot better in knowing what we are doing, playing faster and rallying to the ball."

On Cameron Coffman's and Nate Sudfeld's performances at quarterback:
"It was a bit tough [to determine] because by that point in the game the edge had been taken off the offense, there was a different style of play and the weather changed and got us a bit. [Coffman] will get better. We might have redshirted Nate if the year were through, but now we will have to raise him back up. With Tre's situation, we will have a redshirt year and have him coming back with both of those guys. We will need both of them. There will not be a competition for starter. Coffman will be the starting guy and Sudfeld will be the backup. We will see how Coffman handles it going forward."

    Indiana Sophomore Quarterback Cameron Coffman

On going into the game following's Tre Roberson's second quarter leg injury:
"The coaches were stressing that I need to be ready at any point and I have been putting just as much pressure on myself during the week as if I were the starter, so I felt prepared. It is an unfortunate situation with Tre going down, and he is in our prayers, but we have to move forward and keep going."

On what he saw as the positives and negatives of his performance:
"I felt comfortable out there and I wasn't too nervous. I think it went pretty well but there is a lot I can improve on. I am going to go watch the film of the game, continue to get more comfortable out there and continue to get better."
