INDIANA POSTGAME QUOTES
Bill Lynch, head coach
On playing Ohio State:
"We played a great team out there today and we knew that coming in. Through all our study this season, we knew this team was special and they've got a bright future ahead of them. They totally dominated us in the first half in every way. I give them a lot of credit. By halftime, they were in total control."
On defending Ohio State's running game:
"On their first drive they scored early on, but other than that we did a decent job at defending against the run. Looking back to the first half we just got completely dominated so I can't really say we did that well against the run."
On his team's ability to pass:
"The pressure they put on us with their front four gave us no time to throw. We knew we were going to have to play catch and throw to be successful. The problem is they don't even have to blitz to get heavy pressure. They mixed up their coverage and they have a lot of talent."
On moving the ball:
"We were just looking for a way to get a first down. We've been fortunate so far this year in that we've been able to go into a game and find our rhythm, so that shows just how good Ohio State is. We didn't come in thinking we would be able to move the ball all over the place."
