    November 16, 2013

    • Indiana's streak of 10 straight games of scoring 28-or-more points came to an end. The streak was the longest in school history.

    • In his second straight start, true freshman linebacker Clyde Newton set a career-high in tackles with 14. Newton bested his previous best of 11, which he made in his first career start last weekend against Illinois. The Punta Gorda, Fla., native also added a sack against the Badgers.

Cody Latimer reached five receptions for the seventh time in the last eight games, finishing the afternoon with five catches for 42 yards. The junior now has 60 catches for 926 yards on the year, ranking 10th and seventh, respectively, all-time at Indiana. His career numbers elevate to 123 receptions (ninth all-time) and 1,872 receiving yards (eighth all-time).

Kofi Hughes posted four receptions covering 60 yards. His career receiving yardage total of 1,782 ranks 10th all-time in school history and he is one reception shy (120) of cracking that top-10. For the season, Hughes owns 35 catches and 565 yards.

Stephen Houston paced the IU rushing attacked with 61 yards on 15 carries (4.1 average). With 2,148 career rushing yards, Houston moved into 10th place all-time in school history.

D'Angelo Roberts gained over four yards a clip as well, posting 31 yards on seven totes (4.4 average).

Mitch Ewald continued his perfect season, booting a 23-yard field goal. He is a perfect 9-of-9 on field goals this season and has made 10 straight dating back to last year, which is tied for second in IU history (Doug Smith, 1981-82). Ewald has made all 46 of his extra point attempts as well.

    • The fifth-year senior is the Hoosiers all-time field goals, field goal percentage, extra points and total points (kickers) leader. Ewald is 53-of-64 (82.8 percent) and 151-of-152 (99.3) for 310 points.

    • Sophomore defensive end Nick Mangieri and Newton shared a sack in the second quarter. Mangieri now has three on the season, while Newton has a half-sack.

    • Junior right guard Cody Evers (Little Chute, Wis.) made his first start of the season and the second of his career. Junior defensive end John Laihinen (Mequon, Wis.) also made his first start of 2013 and the fourth of his career. Both players are Wisconsin natives.

    • Evers is Indiana's fourth start right guard this season. The Hoosiers have used six different starting lineups in 10 games.

    • Fifth-year senior tight end Ted Bolser (sixth time this season), fifth-year senior Mitch Ewald (first), fifth-year senior safety Greg Heban (seventh) and junior wide receiver Kofi Hughes (fifth) served as game captains.

    • Wisconsin won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.
