Doss Headed to Super Bowl XLVII

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Baltimore Ravens wide receiver and former Hoosier (2008-10) Tandon Doss is headed to Super Bowl XLVII. The Ravens defeated the New England Patriots on Sunday and will take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 3.
Doss has appeared in 17 games this season, including all three this postseason. The Indianapolis native and Ben Davis High School graduate owns seven receptions for 123 yards and one touchdown.
He ended his career in the top 10 on Indiana's all-time lists in receptions (fourth; 154), kick return yards (fourth; 1,549), receiving yards (seventh; 1,854) and all-purpose yards (seventh; 3,786) in 31 games (22 starts). Doss became the 16th Hoosier to reach 100 career receptions and 1,000 career yards in 2010.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh also spent time in Bloomington. He served as an assistant coach in 1997.
This is the fourth straight season IU has been represented in the Super Bowl. Tracy Porter and Courtney Roby won Super Bowl XLIV with the New Orleans Saints (2010), Antwaan Randle El played in Super Bowl XLV with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2011) and James Brewer won Super Bowl XLVI with the New York Giants last year.
