Hughes Heads Hoosiers Receivers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Kofi Hughes became the 35th Hoosier to surpass the 1,000-yard career receiving mark in 2012. He is 24th all-time with 1,217 yards and is 15 receptions away from becoming the 19th Hoosier with 1,000 career yards and 100 career receptions.
The senior from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis finished third on the team with 43 receptions, 639 yards and 58.1 yards per game one season ago. Hughes was second with a 14.9 average per catch to go along with three touchdowns, and he ended the year sixth in the Big Ten in yards per game and 10th with 3.9 receptions per game.
