    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana football program hosted its Pro Day in Mellencamp Pavilion on Thursday morning. Nine Hoosiers participated in workouts before NFL coaches, scouts and personnel.

    James Brewer and Terrance Turner participated in the NFL Combine in February. Brewer only worked in position drills today, while Turner ran the 40-yard dash and caught passes from Ben Chappell.

    Chappell, who weighed in at 224 pounds, along with Trea Burgess, Richard Council, Mitchell Evans, Deonte Mack, Jordan Marquette and Terrance Thomas showcased their talents.

    In addition to the 40-yard dash, the players participated in the 225-pound bench press, the vertical and broad jumps and other agility drills before finishing with some position work.

    The 2011 NFL Draft will be held on Thursday, April 28-Saturday, April 30. Thursday will consist of the first round with rounds two and three on Friday and rounds four through seven on Sunday.

     

     

    Rodger Saffold (33rd pick by St. Louis), Jammie Kirlew (seventh round by Denver) and Ray Fisher (seventh round by Indianapolis) were selected in the 2010 NFL Draft. Indiana had three players drafted for the first time since 1991.
