Roberson, Sudfeld Competing at High Level

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Nate Sudfeld (21 passing, one rushing) and Tre Roberson (15 passing, five rushing) accounted for 20-plus touchdowns in 2013. It is believed to be the first time in FBS history that quarterbacks on the same team have done so in the same season.
Sudfeld enters 2014 second in completion percentage (60.2) and seventh in passing TDs (28) on Indiana's career lists. The junior completed 194-of-322 (60.2 percent) for 2,523 yards with 21 scores, nine interceptions and a 142.0 pass efficiency rating one season ago.
He finished third in the Big Ten in yards per completion (13.0) and yards per attempt (7.8), fourth in passing yards per game (210.2) and completions per game (16.2), tied for fourth in passing touchdowns, fifth in pass efficiency, passing yardage, total offense per game (207.4), completion percentage and points responsible for per game (11.2), and sixth in yards per play (6.9)
Roberson heads into 2014 with a 59.7 career completion percentage, the third-highest in IU history. He completed 83-of-138 (60.1 percent) for 1,128 yards with 15 TDs, four INTs and a 158.9 pass efficiency rating and added 423 rushing yards on 85 attempts (5.0 average) with five scores last year.
The junior's pass efficiency mark was second in the Big Ten and his 7.0 yards per play sat fifth. Roberson compiled 1,551 total yards with 20 touchdowns.
