Wilson, Defense on Thursday's Scrimmage

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Kevin Wilson's Hoosiers scrimmaged inside Memorial Stadium on Thursday. Indiana closed its ninth spring practice by taking over 100 snaps during the scrimmage.
IU will take Easter Weekend off and return to the field with three practices next week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Wilson spoke with Jeremy Gray following today's action:
Kenny Mullen started the first five games of 2012 at cornerback and played in 11 overall at corner and nickel back. The junior finished the year with 33 tackles, 28 solo, three tackles for loss and four pass breakups.

Defensive end Zack Shaw earned a spot on the 2012 BTN.com All-Big Ten Freshman team. The sophomore moved from linebacker to defensive end during 2011 spring practice and started nine times last season. Shaw carded 29 tackles, 18 solo, with two sacks (20 yards) and five tackles for loss (31 yards).
