Hoosiers Scrimmage, Host Coaches Clinic
April 2, 2011
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Head coach Kevin Wilson welcomed over 100 coaches to Bloomington for his first IU Coaches Clinic and oversaw the Hoosiers first scrimmage of the spring. IU ran 115 plays on a sun-filled Saturday afternoon.
"I thought our defense did a heck of a job," Wilson said. "We made several plays in the secondary and did a great job stopping the run. The defense is really making strides. Offensively, we have some work to do. It was our first time in a scrimmage, trying to do the no huddle and play the game the way we want to play it. We also had a lot of great kicking situations today. All in all, a great day."
Indiana's coaching staff spent the afternoon meeting with the visiting coaches after an hour of demonstration prior to the scrimmage. Click below to see scrimmage highlights.
