BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The 2011 Cream vs. Crimson Spring Game presented by Smithville will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Memorial Stadium. Admission is free and the gates will open at 8:30 a.m.
Fans are asked to enter the West side of Memorial Stadium via Gates 1, 2 & 3 and to sit in the West stands. All parking lots will be open and parking is free.
The game will be streamed live on www.BigTenNetwork.com and will be televised on delay at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. Don Fischer (play-by-play) and Buck Suhr (analyst) will call the action.
Additionally, the Big Ten Network will have highlights and analysis on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Spring Football Report with Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith.
Start your day with the return of Pigskins & Pancakes located on the West Concourse. You can enjoy a FREE breakfast of three pancakes, two sausages, orange juice and coffee.
Vice President and Director of Athletics Fred Glass, IU student-athletes and coaches will pass out the food and meet with the fans. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-10 a.m.
The Fan Festival will also be held on the West Concourse:
*Kid Zone will be set up with face painters, giveaway and inflatables
*Season ticket holder tent with a special giveaway
*Varsity Club tent where fans can get a picture with the Old Oaken Bucket
Get a chance to win great prizes throughout the game and meet Coach Wilson, his staff and the 2011 Indiana Hoosiers for pictures and autographs on the West Concourse after the game.
The IU Alumni Association's Monroe County Chapter and Student Athletic Board Alumni are also partnering to collect food donations during the game to support the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. Look for nonperishable food collection sites at Gates E9 and W1.
