    2008 Schedule

    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Three Indiana football games will air as part of the 2008 Big Ten Network prime time schedule, the Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday. IU will meet Murray State (7 p.m. ET), Ball State (7 p.m. ET) and travel to Illinois (8 p.m. ET) in prime time.

    Indiana's season-opener against Western Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 30, will kick off at noon ET and its Homecoming contest with Northwestern on Saturday, Oct. 25, is also scheduled for a noon ET kick. The Northwestern game will be televised by ESPN, ESPN2 or the Big Ten Network and will be announced six or 12 days prior to kickoff.

    The Hoosiers will host Murray State in the second game of the season on Saturday, Sept. 6. It will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

    Following a bye week, Indiana remains home to face Ball State on Saturday, Sept. 20. IU has defeated BSU the last two seasons and holds a 4-0 mark all-time against the Cardinals.

    The Hoosiers prime time Big Ten contest comes on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Illinois. Indiana has won three of its last five meetings against the Fighting Illini.
