    BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head football coach Kevin Wilson announced Thursday that running back Stephen Houston has joined the Hoosier football program. Houston has three years of eligibility remaining.

    The 6-0, 220-pound Houston rushed for 1,082 yards and five touchdowns at Independence (Kan.) Community College in 2010. Houston averaged 6.6 yards on 165 carries. He redshirted the 2009 season at Independence.

    Houston attended Lakota West High School in Ohio as a senior and collected 887 rushing yards and scored 11 times. He was also a standout hurdler.

    The son of Sharlie Deloney was born on Oct. 28, 1991, and is a Little Rock, Ark., native.
