North End Zone Construction Photo Gallery

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - A new photo gallery is now available on IUHoosiers.com to show IU fans the latest look inside the North End Zone of Memorial Stadium.

Much of the construction of the facility is finished as crews have begun installing furniture in the offices of the North End Zone. The facility broke ground in July 2007 and is scheduled for completion in the next month.

This new 138,000-square-foot facility will transform Memorial Stadium into a horseshoe layout connecting the East and West stands, complete with a new seating bowl and outdoor club area. The facility will include increased space for athletic administration offices and a 25,000-square-foot strength and conditioning center for use by student athletes in every varsity sport. It will also feature the Hall of Champions, a premier entertainment space for special events that will feature and celebrate great achievements in the history of IU Athletics.

The North End Zone Facility will also become the new headquarters of Indiana Football, featuring new staff offices, position meeting rooms and a team auditorium. IU Football will begin its new 2009 season from inside the new facility on Thursday, Sept. 3, against Eastern Kentucky. It will be the first Thursday game in Memorial Stadium history.

To order season tickets, contact the IU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-866-IUSPORTS or visit IUHoosiers.com.
